Give me Chocolate Cake


That's my PMS talking and because I know myself well, I don't keep anything chocolate in the house otherwise I will just plain eat it all.

Like Cookie Monster in Sesame Street NOM NOM NOM

However I do keep unsweetened cocoa powder for baking purposes. Who knew I could get in trouble with that?

C-Bear, that's who...

C-Bear came home from Norway (thank you Signe) with a FANTASTIC chocolate cake you make in a coffee cup in the microwave.

What? you say?...


Yes and I dare say it's the one of the best chocolate cakes I have ever eaten.

Here's the recipe...

 No really. Here it is written out:


With a soup spoon measure into a microwave-safe coffee cup

1 rounded spoon of flour
4 rounded spoons of sugar
2 rounded spoons of unsweetened cocoa

Stir in one egg.

Stir in 3 spoons of milk and
3 spoons of oil (canola is fine)
1/2 spoon vanilla

Put in the microwave at maximum power for 3 minutes until the cake has risen.

 Careful, don't burn your tongue!
