Too much Paris? NEVER!

I can never get enough of Paris. I absolutely love that city! Everywhere you turn there is something interesting, famous, beautiful, architectural, historic, colorful, Frenchie, shocking, expensive... you name it, eye candy abounds.

I wander around, looking at stuff and bossing my husband, the cameraman, around... "take a picture of that. No, just that corner. Oooh, stand here and take a picture of this." Thankfully, Husband  obliges or you would have no pretty pictures to look at here.

Last Friday, we packed the van to the max with people and drove down to Paris with my cousin and her husband and their three kids (who hosted us in Norway the previous week). E-Dude came too. As his last hurrah in Europe, he wanted to see Paris (who wouldn't?).

We hit the usual suspects - Notre Dame, the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, visited a boulangerie, did some shopping, espresso drinking, and lots of walking, saw a few Christmas lights, virtually no tourists, and best of all, SNOW!

It was magical.

We were in the Louvre when it started coming down and everyone turned their back on the world's greatest masterpieces to stare at the beauty of nature swirling white outside in the courtyard. The irony was not lost on me.
After working my butt off cooking Thanksgiving for three days, Paris enjoyed with my family was a sweet break from it all.
