When in Rome...

...pack everything you possibly can into four days... we did!
Coliseum, Forum, Pantheon, cool shopping, Spanish Steps, Relics, the Vatican including Sistine Chapel, St. Peter's Basilica, excellent food, good company, the crypts, a really nice hotel, so many churches I lost count... all in four days. Here are some highlights.

WOW!! How cool, E. I've always wanted to see Rome. I'm so happy you and the kids got to see one of the great historic and cultural hubs of Western civ - your kids will thank you somewhere along the way. Maybe some of what they experienced will get stuck in their memories and will actually spark an interest when they study the Fall of the Roman Empire and all that stuff. I saw Heather yesterday, made me miss you. Glad to see Erik's in CA on a job - that makes me so happy. Hey, Z got your package! She loved the chocolates and is orbiting the moon over all that cold cash. I won't forget to send you pics of Zora's rock camp, btw...

Love you,
