Festival Season in Georgia is Here!

That means it's FALL! This past weekend was a perfect example of why people LOVE LOVE LOVE the South. We had an absolutely glorious weekend with 81 degrees during the day and 50s at night. So pleasant!!!

Fall is festival season because, of course, no one will attend a state fair or any kind of outdoor event in the middle of summer because attendees would drop like flies from heat exhaustion. Spring is a poor time too because of the gnats (did you know that the Savannah baseball team is called the "Sand Gnats"?).

Every October, Richmond Hill, our quaint little burg, hosts the annual Great Ogeechee Seafood Festival. The whole town practically shuts down and people come from miles around to fill every crevice, eat seafood, ride rides, listen to music and watch a great fireworks show. It's big fun.

This year the headlining band was "Survivor". I know you've heard of them... they sang "Eye of the Tiger" in the 80s. Whoo hoo - we're on the map now.

I attended 2 of the 3 days with P-Diddle. E-Dude and C-Beart attended with their friends. It's nearby so they can walk if they want.

I snapped some pictures of my favorite cars at the car show and my favorite boys. Here they are:
